Main objective of this Consultancy service is to collect and process data on all trunk and regional roads in Montenegro, for a total length of 1783 km, in order to create a computerized management system of the national road network.

SPEA will provide and handover to the Beneficiary, the Directorate for Transport, operational road database (RDB) and functional Pavement Maintenance and Management System (PMMS) which will enable the responsible Montenegro professionals to make decisions and actions in terms of necessary construction, reconstruction, maintenance and protection of the state roads.

The road inventory surveys will be performed using high-quality and high-speed measuring equipment, with minimal disturbance to vehicular circulation, for the following acquisitions:

  • road geometry surveys (GPS surveying),
  • pavement surface condition surveys (video logging),
  • pavement structure surveys (FWD, GPR, core drilling, etc.),
  • roughness surveys (IRI),
  • ruth depth surveys (transverse profile),
  • macro texture surveys and pavement friction surveys,
  • record traffic signs and equipment and systems (in video logging).

The project is financed by the EU.
