Established in Milan in 1961 with the aim of setting up a firm with the expertise to resolve the various problems encountered during the construction of Italian motorways, Spea has grown in the highway and roads sector becoming the largest Italian engineering company in this sector.
In time, our expertise grew to cover the needs of our clients and widen the scope of our core competences. We are now able to include master planning analysis and state of the art environmental planning and monitoring activities as well as all other kind of engineering practices impacting the life cycle of an infrastructure.
In addition to roads and highways, we provide engineering services in airport and railways sectors too. We believe these sectors will have a growing importance in our future business portfolio and the experiences accumulated in past projects will find an increasing application in future ones.
