Project Introduction
Supervision of works of about 14 km of A1 highway widening. Upgrading of highway system for Bologna node and ring-road around the city.
The project includes the construction of a series of works in favour of the territory, including:
- the new highway “Bologna Fiera” whose works were completed on December 2006, four months ahead of time compared to contract
- the construction of the new junction on ordinary roads in Crespellano
- the design and implementation of the Provincial Road Bazzanese
- changes to existing interchanges on most of the Bologna ring road with the construction of new ramps and roundabouts to improve functionality and increase traffic flow
- installation of noise barriers, for a total of 9 km in the vicinity of residential areas
- the construction of the noise mitigation tunnel near S.Donnino
