Welcome SPEA to IABMAS as Collective Member

Spea received the collective membership by the International IABMAS (International Association for Bridge Management And Safety) and its national group IABMAS-Italy.

The Association IABMAS, founded in 1999, deals with all aspects of the design, inspection, maintenance, security and management of bridges. The purpose of the Association is to promote international cooperation in these fields to contribute to a better and safer development of the Society.

For a better coordination of its activities, IABMAS includes national groups (Italy, Portugal, Japan, China and Brazil) representing a reference for promoting the skills of each country wishes to express as part of the Association.

In these years Spea has always actively participated in the initiatives promoted by the Association, submitting scientific articles presented at international conferences in 2006 in Porto [1], in 2008 in Seoul [2], in 2012 in Stresa [3] [4], and in 2014 in Shanghai [5]; Spea also supported the activities of the national group, founded in 2012, participating in the workshop on 14-15 October 2013 at the Milan Polytechnic and 15-16 December 2014 at the University of Padua.
