Opening of the exhibition “The images of Time – Roman art and the passing of the seasons”

04 April 2019

Today, the 4th of April, at Rome Fiumicino airport the exhibition entitled “The images of Time – Roman art and the passing of the seasons” was inaugurated. The exhibition consists of 6 works from the Roman era on loan from the local Archeological Park of Ancient Ostia with the display areas designed by Spea Engineering. The exhibition takes place in the heart of the departure area E of the airport, 90.000m2 of avant garde terminal space designed and delivered by Spea Engineering in December 2016 that presently hosts 6 million passengers in departure each year. The works of art were originally found in the area that for centuries was the base of arrivals and departures of all traffic for Ancient Rome by means of a system of ports capable of connections to every corner of the known world. This is the same area that today hosts Rome “Leonardo da Vinci” International Airport, principal connection between Italy and all major European hubs.
