Albania – Widening project of 3 lane of Tiranë – Durrës Highway

Spea Engineering has been awarded the Consultancy services for the feasibility study, preliminary and final design of the Widening project of 3 lane of Tiranë – Durrës Highway.

Tiranë – Durrës highway connects the 2 greatest centers of the country: Tiranë, the capital of Albania, with Durrës’ harbor, the greatest port of Albania, and also touristic places of Durrës, in particular Durrës – Golem – Mali i Robit seafront. From this point of view the highway is the busiest of the Country, during the summer, most of all last years after the construction of the new connection between Kukes and Kosovo, and other regions. This constant traffic growth makes necessary the widening study of Tiranë – Durrës to manage the traffic increasing.
