Albania – Spea presented the preliminary design of Thumanë – Vorë – Kashar project

As part of the project “Feasibility Study and Detailed Design of the road section connecting Thumanë – Vorë – Kashar”, Spea Engineering S.p.A. presented to the Authorities the Preliminary design.
The Public Consultation was held on the 9th of September 2016 in the conference room of the Tirana International Hotel
. On the 16th of September 2016, during the Technical Council held in Tirana, the Preliminary Design was presented to the Albanian Road Authority.
Starting from the tentative corridor of the Feasibility phase, approved by the Client, an optimization of the alignment was presented in order to reduce social and environmental impacts related to road construction. Localization of interchanges and overpasses was also enhanced in order to reduce as much as possible expropriation and other impacts and to serve more efficiently the Rinas International airport.
