Preparation of Detail Design, Bidding Documents, Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) and Land Acquisition Resettlement Plan (LARP) for New Construction of Khevi-Ubisa-Shorapani-Argveta road section (approximately 42km).

The main topics related to the project are the following:

  1. Review and analyze the feasibility study for New Construction of Khevi-Ubisa-Shorapani-Argveta road section (approximately 42km) and provide proposal (if any) for improvement of geometric parameters of the road (including longitudinal profile, curve radii etc.), which will be based on appropriate technical considerations, and reflect cost benefit analysis;
  2. Preparation of Final Detailed Engineering Design for construction works; construction drawings with detail BoQ.
  3. Preparation of Bidding Documents according to FIDIC MDB Harmonized Construction Contract;
  4. Preparation of Environment Impact Assessment (EIA), including Environment Management Plan (EMP) according to ADB Safeguard Policy Statement (2009);
  5. Preparation of Final Implementation-ready Land Acquisition and Resettlement Plan (LARP) according to general requirements of ADB Safeguard Policy Statement (2009);

Preparation of Road Safety Assessments and Audits in general compliance with the recommendations of Road Safety Audits for Road Projects – Operational Tool Kit (ADB 2003), and Directive 2008/96/EC on road infrastructure safety management.
