Project Introduction
This highway section crosses a territory of 20 municipalities in the Province of Milan and Bergamo, characterized by a great number of industrial, commercial and residential areas.
Length: 33,6 km.
The main works are the following:

  • Widening of highway surface from 30 to about 40 m
  • Adaptation of the infrastructure to safety standards
  • Implementation of 3 main civil works: new bridges on Adda and Brembo Rivers, new railway bridge on the Treviglio – Bergamo line, laying on the second track consistently with railway development programs
  • Rehabilitation of Trezzo d’Adda, Capriate, Dalmine,  Agrate and Cavenago stations
  • Rehabilitation of 39 overpasses
  • Introduction of acoustic insulation barriers for 29 km length
