Project Introduction
This highway section crosses a territory of 20 municipalities in the Province of Milan and Bergamo, characterized by a great number of industrial, commercial and residential areas.
Length: 33,6 km.
The main works are the following:
- Widening of highway surface from 30 to about 40 m
- Adaptation of the infrastructure to safety standards
- Implementation of 3 main civil works: new bridges on Adda and Brembo Rivers, new railway bridge on the Treviglio – Bergamo line, laying on the second track consistently with railway development programs
- Rehabilitation of Trezzo d’Adda, Capriate, Dalmine, Agrate and Cavenago stations
- Rehabilitation of 39 overpasses
- Introduction of acoustic insulation barriers for 29 km length
