Best Airport 2018

The award was presented to ‘Aeroporti di Roma’ during the ‘Airports Council International’ annual assembly held in Brussels by a panel of distinguished independent experts in the aviation sector, including representatives from the European Commission, EUROCONTROL, the European Civil Aviation Conference and the European Travel Commission.
A key component of this important success as cited by the jury is “the planning and creation of new infrastructures in accordance with the most advanced sustainability standards and with no further consumption of land”.
The Architectural and Engineering Design and Works Supervision for these new developments was carried out entirely by Spea Engineering availing of more 50 years of experience in the delivery of complex infrastructural projects both in Italy and abroad.
