This Department provides the necessary engineering services for the operations of the transport infrastructures in order to protect the condition of the motorway network assets.
The Department has been organized with the aim to assume control locally, even under emergency conditions: through technical offices located along the motorway network that provide the survey and instrumental checks.
The data supplied are analysed and used to support the decisions linked to the maintenance actions that have been projected in Rome office. Moreover, the department provides the service of Supervision Works for the activities that have been projected.
